Nate Dogg




 

Nate Dogg was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, by the birth name of Nathaniel Dwayne Hale. He was a good friend to the rappers Snoop Dogg, Warren G, RBX and Daz Dilinger and also he was their partner. He was the cousin of Lil' ½ Dead and Butch Cassidy. He began singing in New Hope Baptist Church in Long Beach and Life Line Baptist Church in Clarksdale, Mississippi, as a young child. As a 16 years old teenager he dropped out of High School in Long Beach and joined the United States Marine Corps, serving three years.

Nate Dogg, Snoop Dogg and their friend Warren G, formed a rap trio called "213" in 1990. They recorded their first "213" demo in Long Beach, in the back of the famed V.I.P. record store. The demo was later heard by Dr Dre at a house party and instantly he fell in love with the soulful voice of Nate Dogg. 

On December 19, 2007, Nate Dogg suffered from a stroke. Reports later shows that Nate Dogg was  admitted to Pomona Valley Hospital Medical Center in Pomona, California, after suffering from a Heart Attack. However Nate Dogg was later admitted to medical rehabilitation facility on December 26, after being treated for a stroke, so that he can recover, his left side of the body was paralyzed and his voice wasn't affected.

In September 2008, Nate Dogg suffered a second stroke and he died on March 15, 2011 in Long Beach, California, due to Complications of multiple stroke.
